In the heart of the English Garden the cozy and quiet Hirschau beer garden with its 1,800 seats invites to linger in the shade of large chestnut trees. The beer garden and the restaurant offer everything the culinary bavarian heart desires. The offer ranges from bavarian specialties such as pork knuckle, Steckerlfisch and Radi to a freshly tapped beer or Radler.
The Hirschau beer garden live music program can be found in this overview. For the little ones there is a large playground.
Hirschau beer garden and restaurant at the English Garden
In 1840 a Munich innkeeper opened the restaurant "Zum Hasenstall" and provided the workers with food and drinks. The excursion site was later mentioned in a travel guide and is still a popular destination for walkers, day trippers and families with children. By the way: the name "Hirschau" goes back to the former wild wealth of the Isarauen north of the city.
